As a recovering people pleaser, it was difficult in the beginning stages of business for them to charge what they needed to charge to be profitable and succeed, but quickly realized that it is ok that not everyone is their client. So that is their biggest tip for other business owners--do the calculations, charge what you need to charge, and SUCCEED! They are worth it! As small businesses, the business often can't compete with big companies, and that is ok. Be proud of and confident in the service/product/experience you offer, talk about it.
