Our first Pretty in Pink
Our first Pretty in Pink event in September 2022 was where it all began! 💕 With the incredible co-hosts Honey Salon and Petit Social Studio by our side, we launched our very first shoppable networking event supporting women-owned businesses. What made this event so special was that every aspect—from decor to services—was donated by talented women-owned businesses. It was truly a community-driven effort, and the perfect start to what has now become an amazing tradition of empowerment and collaboration!
I’d also like to express my heartfelt gratitude to a fellow business owner who provided stunning photos for our website and the Pretty in Pink event. Allow me to introduce you to Alli McGrath, the talented owner of Alli McGrath Photography (@allimcgrathphoto). She went above and beyond in capturing the essence of Delaware Female Creatives, and we highly recommend her services to anyone in need of exceptional photography.
Additionally, I would like to express my appreciation to Noelle, the owner of Catapult & Co by Femina(@catapultandco), for her invaluable contributions to our event and website. Pretty in Pink - Network and Shop with your Galentine
Our second Pretty in Pink event in 2024 was truly extraordinary! We were thrilled to have the amazing Wildchild Floral Bar @wildchild_floralbar as our co-host, and once again, the event was held at our wonderful member’s space, Petit Social Studio. This time, the event had a Galentine's theme, encouraging everyone to bring their best friend along for a day of fun and shopping from women-owned businesses.
We were fortunate to have the event beautifully captured by Ashlee Emerson Photography @ashleeemersonphotography, and our talented videographer Noelle, owner of Catapult & Co by Femina (@catapultandco), was there to document all the special moments.
It was a day filled with love, friendship, and support for our vibrant community of female entrepreneurs!

Pretty in Pink - In Bloom: Spring Market and Networking for Women-Owned Business Event 2025
On Saturday, April 26, 2025, Pretty in Pink: In Bloom — our first-ever Spring Market and Networking Event — brought the community together for an unforgettable day celebrating women-owned businesses, connection, and empowerment.
Hosted by Delaware Female Creatives and co-hosted by Katelyn Papanicolas, Realtor - Team First State Properties, the event welcomed over 165 guests to St. Anne’s Club in Middletown, Delaware. Guests enjoyed shopping from 40+ women-owned businesses, networking, and participating in exciting raffles with prizes donated by over 30 incredible small businesses.
Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors, vendors, donors, and guests, Pretty in Pink became more than just a market — it became a true celebration of dreams, hard work, and community spirit.
